Doesn't matter so long as Corbin B is in it... LOLL jp I would say the first seemed more entertaining, even though the second had really good dance routines

HSM 1 was better mainly because we're getting to know the characters and it resonated with me personally. HSM 2 seemed like a rehashed version of the first and a bit too formulaic. However, the best song of the 2 movies is Bet On It from HSM 2 plus Zac gets to sing all the songs in HSM 2.

I personally thought the first one was better becuase, the music had a better sound and rythm to it. The second one the music kinda of sucked and it didn't have some of the orginally characters through the entire movie in it.

high school musical 2.... the songs are much more proffestional and and sound better...... and the plot is much more worked out( no pun intended) does not seem as light as the first movie. if you had to choose between the two, choose the second one

I didn't care for either one. But, HS1 was probably the better of the 2, and should've been left with just one movie.

I have never seen these movies that your talking about, but I would say without any reservations that the first one is better. You know what they say about sequels.

neither of them.I'll take Roger's and Hammersteins musicals over them!! At least they knew how to do musicals right!!
