I am not looking for history on Guderian (I can learn that on my own). What I am looking for is your "thoughts" good, bad, or indifferent. Statements with support to history would be appreciated BUT not necessary.

I'm impressed with Guderian's history. "Father" of the blitzkrieg, he was very well-educated and strategic-minded. I'm not clear as to why Hitler let him go after the attacks in Russia...can you clarify that? Did he only reinstate him because he remained faithful to Hitler? As far as war is concerned, I would say that he was brilliant, and a key part of Germany's effort.

He was on of Germanys finest Commanders probably only Rommel was more successful and famous!!!!
