Offer to give him a lovely full body massage, you know to relax him before the big chop. Rub him lovingly with some good quality olive oil. Sprinkle him with some rock salt and black pepper.....garnish him with a little parsley (tell him it is a herbal treatment) then ram an apple into his gob and wave him off.

I live in the country and I dont have a prob with sending animals to the butcher. But you cant send your pet to the butcher. If you are raising it to butcher, sorry, no party needed. I had a pig once, it got hit by a car before he made it anywhere!
