They never broke up. Shawn Michaels was injured by Randy Orton and was out for a few months. Then Triple H became injured by Umaga and was out for a few months. Triple H came back, Shawn has only been back 2 weeks.

um kim i think hhh was injured by Rated Rko in there New years revoulution match right
and i think they just wanted to get back at the ppl that injured them then they will go back to there dx thing and thats coming soon as u all know vince said......

It was because HBK is a newly born Christian and he didn't want anyhting to do with DX and because they both had injuries.
