Sadly, yes it is. It should be illegal to advertise that way. That way, no annoying flyer for something I will never buy and no litter.

Depends on the litter laws where you live. Anything you would normally put in a trash can that ends up on public property would be considered littering in most communities, whether it's just a flyer or bag of chicken bones from Colonel Sanders. Whether you asked for ad or not, and it was placed on your car, I think you still have an obligation to use the trash recepticle to keep your community from looking like the city dump. Incidentally, where I live, there are fines imposed for littering.

hell yes your guilty and should get yer *** nailed to a billboard for your heinous crime .dont even think of dropping it except into a litter bin ,better still take it to a recycling department ,
if everyone just dropped their litter in the street you can bet you would be walking throu 4 feet of rubbish within a week ,
and last but not least
please spare a thought for all those people around the world who day after day go around behind you clearing away the mess you leave laying around ,want to save money on your taxes ? easy to do put the street cleaners out of work by disposing of your own rubbish

Yes you are littering. You could always call the police and accuse the people on the flyer of desecrating your car.

It's true, I think, that anything found on your property is your responsibility, by law.
Who knows? One day, perhaps someone will leave a fifty dollar bill under your windshield wiper, but for now, just toss it in a trash can.

Yes, it's littering, and yes, you're the one who littered. You didn't ask for them, but your choices are to try to get the ones who put them there to come remove them or to remove & dispose of them yourself. Disposing of them by tossing them on the ground is littering.

You are littering. Once they are attached to your property no matter how they got there, they are your responsibility to dispose of correctly

The point is you should care more about littering. Is it so hard to just throw something in the trash.
