no, which i find very unusual. i guess it sort of makes sense... people manufacturing pharmaceuticals such as oxy contin aren't exactly getting a discount or popping pills on the job

It most likely depends on the laws of the particular city or state. Some do not allow smoking in public places such as offices, factories, restaurants etc.

I've wondered that one too...Do they allow smoking at board meetings...Is it like a seen from a 60's TV show, with the afternoon cocktail and cigarette...

Yes they do. They also give out free cigarettes.
