They do this because the graphics for the 360 are set up better to preform well for war and shooting games. Just like for the Playstation 3 it is set up better to play sports games better. It is just the way the company made the graphics turn out on the machines.

PS3. You get Blu-Ray and unfastened information superhighway so if the 360 by myself is extra good fee you're saving funds someplace else reason a HD-DVD force for the 360 is like £one hundred twenty. PS3 is extra useful and is planned to final 10 years. of direction there is no longer lots graphical distinction between the 360 and PS3 good now however the PS3 hasn't even been out a twelve months and builders are nevertheless getting used to it. There are some super video games for the PS3, with extra variety than the shooters on Xbox such Heavenly Sword and Ninja gaiden Sigma to boot as MGS4, Silent Hill 5, Uncharted and extremely final myth XIII that are popping out. additionally there is not any pink ring of dying. Sorry I went on, yet i'm uninterested in Xbox fanboys answering those questions devoid of giving real reasons.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have a PS3 and I've noticed the same thing. I have Heavenly Sword and God of War and they are awesome games. It seems like the only game genre that Microsoft has mastered is First Person Shooters. FPS are probably the easiest games to make and Microsoft knows that FPS will sell regardless on the Xbox 360.

It's a variation on the sequelitis the industry is afflicted with. Halo was a huge success on XBox, so all the companies thought "Well, there's definitely an audience for shooters on that system." Thus, they assume shooters will sell to a higher percentage of gamers on that system than other systems. Same thing happened with RPGs on PS1. And in both cases, it carried over to their successor consoles.
