I have this hat in black and I don't know how to wear it or what to wear it with. I'm a fairly casual person and I'm not a teenager anymore!

This hat is adorable.
You could wear it will jeand, a plain black singlet and matching heels and bag to the hat's colour, because the hat is so much of a main piece that you really don't need much else.
If you wan to dress it up a bit more, high black boots, a black flowy mid-3/5 lenth skirt, a black singlet, a cropped black jacket with flowy sleeves and a tie up belt matching the colour of the hat.
For a more summery look, a plain little black dress, black kitten heels and a blck or denim cropped jacket.

That is a cute hat! The best way to wear it would be with similar cold colors (like blue, green, dark reds, and black would go good with it.) Try black jeans and a sweater that might look good. :) Good luck!

Might go well with a dark wool or corduroy jacket. You can wear it straight forward or with the brim slightly off to one side.

Jeans and a casual/nice top, then if you are dressing casually add sneakers/flats and a hoodie, or if you're trying to dress a little nicer add heels or kitten heels and a blazer.

I really like the first girl's idea. That sounds really cute...and I'm pretty sure that you can find a trench coat that will work with you ^_^ I have several friends your height and they wear trench coats well ^_^

Wear it with a nice trench coat, lace cami, nice jeans, and hot black boots.

try it with a knee length or just above the knee, wool coat, black pants, turtle kneck and ankle boots.
or maybe sweater vest, short sleeve blouse and tweed pants with short ankle bootie.
