Keep the porch light off, put a knife between the pumpkin's eyes, and bring a six pack of beer to the door each time you answer the doorbell (belch loudly)! As a mom, I guarantee that will work!

Put a note on the door saying sorry no candy - you may want to remove any pumpkins from the front porch as well

Put out a bowl at the foot of your door with asticky note in it saying "Out of Candy"... works everytime.
