I think generally this is a good thing!

It could perhaps be improved a bit to take in different cultures so that the child can pray in their own QUIET way instead of the traditional hands together eyes shut heads down! (i always feel self conscious)
But a chance to pray or think quietly EVEN if you are an atheist for a couple of Min's a day would be really good, i think, to help kids focus on what they should or need to be doing!

Prayer belongs in the home and in church and not in pubic schools. Children are being raised in a variety of different religions or as athiests and agnostics. If people choose to pray silently that is fine but do not try to force these ideas on others.

I go to a public school and i pray during the day, and i dont care if anyone sees my eather. If they catch you praying in school you cant get it trouble for it. This is the United States, you the the right to practice any religion you want, that includes praying. So if you get caught praying in school you cant get in trouble for it. That would be violating youre 1st ammendment rights. So i say if you want to pray, go right ahead.

you know what...i am far from your front row christian, its been years since i have seen the inside of a church. but it bothers me that they are trying to take away prayer in school, prayer before sporting events. Its not right...i may not be saint but i know He is there and it hurts even me to see this happening.
I understand that people have differant religions..BUT dont take the right for them to pray away..let each and all pray in their own manner.

Not in public schools unless every religion has a room for it and you can go at any time, except during a test.
