If you are liscensed, your state should have guidelines for you to go by. If you are not, then decide how much you would like to earn each week and try to divide that between the children you care for. Don't get greedy, they'll find someone cheaper. Don't sell yourself short, you'll work and work for not enough and you'll become burned out.

Pricing is based on perception, some believe if you charge more they are getting more
You can have less children and charge more, or more kids and charge less.
Advertise different prices in different locations and test the replies.
You want to sell the "Quality" over quantity

that depends on location primarily. A woman was on Y answers last night who said that she charges 800 per month. That probably wouldn't fly in some places and be way too cheap in others. Find out what your local cc's are charging and lower the rate a little at first. good luck!!

I guess it depends on location.......
I've paid as little as 2.00 per hour per kid......
or $200.00 per week for 2 kids.....based on a 40 hour work week....
