I've solved that problem. You can do it too. Here's how. most calls are computer generated. Tape Record those first three Beeps that you hear when you dial a wrong number (555-1234) and put them at the beginning of your Outgoing Message on your Answering Machine, before your own personal Outgoing Message. It will cause the Telemarketer's Computer Generated calling system to register your Phone Number as being invalid. This really works ! And no, I don't feel bad about it at all !

I put my # on the "do not call list"several yrs ago, but people you do business i reckon still give my number out.
i hat e to hang up on them, they are doing thier job & my daughter had to work as one of those in between jobs & i know how hard they have it.
so i let them get to where they have to take a breath & tell them that i'm not interested in it. I do hate it though when they want to be pushy & say "why not' or 'it's free" & sometimes I'll say " What is your name please?" & when they tell me, I'll say, "i need to know cause i'm going ot report you. " & generally that does it, if they're smart ellics.
when ya tell them you arent interested, They WILL hang up on you very rudely sometimes. ! it works b;oth ways.

haha no wayy!!!! i hang up on them all the time. i also like to mess with there minds so they think i am like mental or something. one time i acctually started talking about pumpkins and he told me where i can go to get the best pumpkins and then to have a nice day and hope that i find a good one....then he hung up. madd funny but i nvr feel bad...they r just annoying

I am always polite to them. I simply from the start let them know they have absolutely nothing I want.
If they then continue on with their speach and ignore me I will once again give them the benefit of the doubt and let them know I am not intersted.
If they still keep it up I connect them to the dial tone.

i never feel bad because they act like they don't understand when you say don't call my house and I'm not interested so i just hang up.

I never do that ; I always try to be polite but just say I am not interested.
It must be a terrible job ; I don't know how they do it. People being rude and abusive to you all day ; just imagine.

No because i gave one a chance to talk and they wouldn't take a no for an answer and wouldn't shut up.So i say no thank you and CLICK don't give them a chance anymore

not really. they're annoying buttholes. if you start feeling bad for them, think of all the times they've wasted your time and energy while you run to go see who's calling.
