Unfortunately, most Americans do not consider Iraqis as people. We see them as terrorists or victims, not as everyday people with the same values as our friends, neighbors and relatives. Yet, most Iraqis are decent human beings with the same concerns, dreams, and compassion as most Americans. They want peace and are concerned about their fellow man.
Is it no wonder that we feel differently about the people of Iraq, when the American media only reports sensational news? If it doesn’t bleed or explode, you just aren’t going to see it on the evening news. I received a press release from Baghdad today, which I know the mainstream media will not pass on to you all. Here is an example of Iraqi charity and gratitude which touched my soul. Imagine how incredibly generous these soldiers are. They have little to support their own families. It’s not enough that they are fighting daily to bring peace to their country. They are actually reaching out to help unfortunate Americans.

What? And put water on the fire that burns inside most of these haters? The media would NEVER do that.

No surprise here. The news barely penetrates that casualties are down & Iraq soldier's have gained more ground than ever.
Then there is the party SPIN.
Yet it is the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy that has plagued Hillary Rodham for years. Is that not funny. When we seek peace, she brings internal war. Media Matters and companies driven to manipulate the public. On the Senate floor they work to remove our freedom of speech. From Talk Radio to Internet access. All proposals being looked at. And you ask why? When you can edit the system you can attempt to control one. Just more theories from days of pro-marxist support fresh into Yale and the message continues.
During a political election season every detail is suspect and calculated. If you feel that just a simple TV ad denouncing one or the other is the trend? Think again. So why exactly do we need $300 mil for any way?
Good info. Again.

They are giving money (most likely OUR money) to IRAQIS in California, not to everyone affected by the wildfires.
"BAGHDAD, Iraq — Members of the Iraqi Army in Besmaya collected a donation for the San Diego, Calif., fire victims Thursday night at the Besmaya Range Complex in a moving ceremony to support Besmaya's San Diego residents. "
They are not actually "reaching out to help unfortunate Americans". They are reaching out to help unfortunate Iraqis living in America. See the difference?

It's a shame the media didnt report this, but please dont assume that every American thinks the same way about the Iraqui people. After my nephew was killed on 9-11 I joined a group called Peaceful Tomorrows. They are very involved in finding peaceful ways to involve themselves in the world. One of the ways is going to Iraq and staying in contect with the people there. Not so much the Iraqui Army, but the children and the school teachers. Look them up and see how some of the Americans feel about the rest of the world.

Its good to see what America is about rubbing off on people who often see us differently. Most americans know it is not the iraqi people we are fighting but groups of iranian and syrian supported terrorist. Who are trying to defeat any form of democracy from taking place in the middle east that would mean the beginning of the end for them and there fanatical beliefs.

Good news? Can't be, it just can't be. It must be a lie. All the Iraqis have been killed by the mad man Bush. They all hate Bush. They want to see americans all dead. They are all hiding under their beds from the evil murdering marines and black water USA.
It's terrible I say, TERRIBLE.
You are lying, Bush stole all the money and all the oil. They have nothing to send San Diego, Halliburton has it all. The Iraqis are being killed by the thousands, I mean millions, no I mean Billions, no no zillions. Bush killed a zillion Iraqi children.
Lies lies allllll lies.

That is a wonderful story; thanks for posting.
I think that this is not being reported because the left-leaning US media wants folks to believe that we are at war with the Iraqi people which is totally FALSE. We are at war with the terrorist thugs who threaten to destroy Iraqi new-found freedom. They also don't want us to know that these people appreciate all the US military and current Administration have done for them.

We will not hear about it until someone finds a way to say that the American military people stole the money that was collected for the fire victims in Cal.

You forgot to include the rest of the quote:
"Members of the Iraqi Army in Besmaya collected a donation for the San Diego, Calif., fire victims Thursday night at the Besmaya Range Complex in a moving ceremony to support "BESMAYA'S" San Diego residents."
They sent donations to Iraqis living in San Diego.
How generous of them. Iraqis living in San Diego are probably very thankful.

I found out on YA, from Tinker Thinker. I guess she's more informed, or else not as biased as the Liberal Media. If not for her, and one other friend on here, I might have never known. I missed O'Reilly, and Hannity that night.

Finally! Money comes BACK to the U.S. to help Americans!
Why does President Bush send so much money to Iraq?
Could we use the $2 trillion dollars? For anything? Can you think of anything?
