A great teen mystery series is Sara Sheperd's Pretty Little Liars. They are great.
I'd also recommend Confessions of Georgia Nicholson by Louise Rennison. I can't remember the first book in the series, but this series is quite popular.
The Jessica Darling books by Megan McCafferty (Sloppy Firsts is the first in the series).

I absolutely love the Georgia Nicolson books by Louise Rennison. They've been called the teenage Bridget Jones books. They're hilarious, and deal with teenage tramas like starting to date, scary beauty practices (she accidentally shaves off her eyebrows at one point) and all that. I'm twenty-two and I still really like them, mostly because they're written for teenagers but in a way adults can still really enjoy.

OMG!!! You should so read Artemis Fowl!!! They are so good!!!! And Twilight!! It's a vampire book, and does have some lovey dovey thing going on, but it's still really good. Also The Key to the Kingdom by Garth Nix - they are confusing but really good if you get them. Also try Jade Green (OMG!! great mystery book!) Gossip Girl, Uglies by Scott Westerfield, and now i cant think of others. so ya, but those are really good.

Twilight!! It's the BEST book I've read for awhile , each book has 450++ pages ( 3 book series
) and it's a new york #1 best seller! Plus it's a teenage book !! I love it to death! Twilight first, then New moon, then Eclipse :]

Les Miserables is the Best Book Ever. You would enjoy it, I did.
It's a long read, but worth it. It's like a soap opera.

Check out books by Dee Henderson...totally awesome!!! Not exactly teenager, but I read them and I've been reading them for several years now. Also, check out books by Melody Carlson. Totally awesome!!! One of my favorite authors.
