I think he left her because he was ready to have a family and kids and the whole bit, and she was just getting started in her movie career. While Pitt had been mage famous for a while, Aniston had just done Friends and a few little movies, but she was just getting moved toward some big roles in movies and didn't want to have a baby yet. Then here come the mega- gorgoues Angelina, who's gorgeous, smart, successful, AND wants to have kids so bad she adopts one from every country she visits! He was all over that in a heartbeat. This is one case that the tabloids actually got right.
