We love our food & wine but we are also pretty active, so we wanted to visit a wine region that had a great mixture of activities & good food & wine for us to enjoy.

The Rutherglen area has many wineries and good food as well. It is close to the Murray River so there are river activities at Albury etc. You can also go east from there to Milawa for more wineries and foody places and on to the Victorian Alps. In five days you should see a range of country, eat some excellent food, drink lots of lovely wines and thoroughly enjoy yourselves.

Brown Brothers at Milawa run a number of events throughout the year. The best of them is probably their 3 day Easter food and wine event.

Hi,

Best place to visit in Victoria for food and wine is in the Yarra Valley which is close to Melbourne.

There is a website for that region but I can't remember it at the moment but if you visit the Tourism Victoria's website they'll have a link to it.

Hope this helps with your question.

Thank you

Yarra Valley. So many options for different wineries, plus Healsville Sanctuary is there too.

The picturesque Mornington Peninsula southeast of Melbourne has wineries, beaches, mazes, horseriding, and many other activities.
