Open up your web browser. Click on the "Tools" tab. Scroll down and click on "internet options" If you have windows vista there will be a browsing history just click the delete tab. Then delete all temporary internet files. If you have an older version of windows just click "clear cache" in the internet options tab and that should solve your problem. If the problem continues then set your cache files to more than the default "20"

Need a little more information as it will differ from browser to browser of the easy way to delete history.
First, what kind of browser do you have? If you have Netscape, I can tell you that the history saves for searches are in the security center part under the tools.
If you have Internet Explorer, my guess would be it's within the preferences or options folder to clear your cache and cookies.
