No, not at all. I felt that this book was rushed and J.K. Rowling didn't take the time and care she did for the other books. For instance, there should have been:

-Neville vs. Bellatrix
-Not as long a wait while Harry was in hiding
-More respectable deaths for characters
-More emotion for deaths
-and much much more

I was one of those people out there getting the book the firt day it came out. Well, I expected this book to be at least better than some of the books. Instead, for me,it turned out to be the worst.

Fifth book is best! =)

PEACE.

By finishing the story and tying up the loose ends, it was completed the other six books. In that way, it met with my expectations.

Not to say it didn't have its flaws. The insistence to hold to a full school year format weakened the book. She could have shortened the book by 150 pages or so by redacting the middle of the book "On the run in the Wilderness" (Watch for a drastic shortening when DH come out as a movie).

I know that some people did not like "King's Cross", as a literary device, but I thought it was necessary so Harry came to terms with Dumbledore.

My favorite book is still GoF, but DH is tied for second with PoA.

Not really.

I thought it should be a bit longer. Rowling also left a lot of loose ends. I think she should have had Ginny go with Harry, Ron, and Hermione to destroy the Horcruxes. She should have wrote more about Ginny and Ginny should have had more of a background story. She could have put Harry and Ginny's wedding at the end of the book or in the epilogue and she should have put more about the Department of Mysteries (especially the viel). I could write a whole book of what I think of Deathly Hallows, lol ! I think she did a pretty good job, though.

It was pretty good. I really didn't know what to expect, I was just hoping Harry wasn't killed off. It was cool to see (read about) them as adults in the end. I wish JK would have expanded on that a little more. I was also a little confused at the end, with the whole "who holds the real power of Dumbledore's wand." I had to get my BFF to explain it to me, and we re-read the last chapter over and over...lol!

All and all the whole HP experience was a good one, now I look forward to the next movie coming out....they are coming out right, all 7??

It was a lot better then I thought it would be but I still thought the final book was a let down. The Half Blood prince I thought was one of the most boring and confusing books in the series and you really need a good understanding of that book to understand deathly hallows.

I still am shocked that Dumbledore is gay. I never would have gotten that if she didn't tell.

Yes, the only question that wasn't answered is-

'How did Peter Pettigrew get Voldemort's wand?'

Do you remember, in the fourth book Voldemort just said 'Peter, my wand." Did Voldemort take it with him when he fled from Godric's Hollow? I was hoping Rowling would clarify in the seventh, but everything else was perfect!
