I have plans on building my gaming pc and I need some advice on a good psu. I already ordered an 8800GTS 320MB because I have a 17" monitor. I was thinking on getting the AMD 6000 (I currently have 5000) but it's 125w. I heard an 89w version is already out but not in the US. That really sucks.

So, like the question asks, is 600w enough? Assuming I get the 6000 with 125w.

Good call on the 8800GT. I'll strongly consider cancelling my order on the GTS.

Now, to avoid making a mistake, any good 600w psu that you guys would recommend?

If you can still change your order, get the new screamer, 8800GT. It is much better than the one you ordered and SRP is $259.

8800GTS draws about 103W or 9 amps on the +12V rail. If your 600W PSU has 30 amps or more on the +12V rail, it should have no problem powering the 8800GTS and a 125W processor.

If its a good quality 600w, then yes.
