I can think of quite a few things.
Most importantly they need to stop deleting "social" questions. cuz a lot of people use Y!A just to socialize with their contacts. Its not like I only go on Y!A to get answers to real life problems. Its just for fun!

i agree...and who cares if people cuss straight out or put spaces in between? we all kno tht there cusin
and reporting should be thrown out the window...people report for the fun of it

completely agree with you. i really hate the no "chatting" rule. i mean, almost every question on yahoo answers could be considered "chatty" in some way. frankly, i don't care for the point deductions either. i mean, i'm used to yahoo deleting my questions. but, it really bothers me when i spend 5 points asking and then get a 10 point deduction. for one of my questions they deducted me twice for the same question. still confused about that one. it would be nice if yahoo employees actually answered our compliments instead of just ignoring them. when you appeal, it takes them FOREVER to reply back with some B.S. they really need to improve their appeal process. or maybe we shouldn't have any rules. if you don't like the answer then don't answer it! but, we would have a lot more trolls. i'm torn.

Yeah, I agree about the socialization questions.... I got deleted for asking one about my cats! Seriously, how was that offensive or against guidelines? I had over 20 answers & before I could pick one, the whole thing got deleted.....
probably some stupid stalker/troll......

i agree with you, i think thats dumb that they delete those questions. thsi is supposed to be a fun interactive place, not for serious answers only!

I'd agree with you on your points. I'd also say I'd like to see who "reports" and why. I think it's like court: if you're gonna be accused, you should meet the accuser.
