For the day itself, I would say Birthdays.. I love getting presents from people and getting to celebrate, it makes me feel special =]

But I still would rather it be Christmas, usually, because of Winter Break... 2 weeks off!

easter and christmas are christian holidays.. you have to understand what they signify.. Easter is like the passover when Jesus came out of his tomb and christmas is Jesus' birthday.. we muslims dont believe Jesus died, so that makes Easter redundant/nonexistant and we muslims dont celebrate prophets birthdays.. we dont celebrate Mohammeds birthday either (although some sects do, but Mohammed never condoned this).. Frankly no one even knows when Jesus was born, it certainly was not Dec 25th ... that was the winter solstice which was pagans holiday.. thanksgiving is not a "christian"specific holiday.. its an "american" tradition to give thanks to the native american indian people for helping the first settlers who came to america and had to survive the first harsh winters without food.. the native indians helped share their resources and helped them to build homes and shelters.. this is what the pilgrams gave thanks for.. So if you are an american muslim, christian, jew, or athiest or pagan, you can still be thankful for the help of the early indians.. Halloween is not celebrated even by many christians some denominations dont celebrate it.. its sac religious. its celebrateing the dead, dressing up as dead ghosts, monsters, demons, etc.. this goes against christianity, judaism and islam... true religious people dont celebrate this demon worship holiday of greed (and encouraging children to be greedy also) as for birthdays.. some muslims do and some dont.. the prophet didnt recommend this because as muslims we should be thankful and grateful to God for giving us every day of our life, not just one.. And we are not to put any human up on a pedistal and glorify that human above thinking about God.. this is attributed to idol worship and forbidden.. just pray on your birthday and be thankful that God gave you another year of health and life..

I like Christmas the best, even though we don't get any snow here. I like to become just like Clark W Griswold from Christmas Vacation when it comes to decorating. Anyone want to help me pay my December electric bill?

I like all of them for different reasons. But perhaps Easter is best because it is spring and everything is beginning to be wonderful and new again, and summer can't be too far away
