What are a few good reasons to wear a thong besides the obvious sexual reasons?

nonsexual reason for wearing a thong is to eliminate panty lines. Modern fabrics can be quite clingy, and at some point, a committee somewhere decided that the panty line was a scourge on society and must be wiped out at any cost. Hence the rationale for wearing a thong - no panty lines at the bottom of your bottom. However, those geniuses perhaps didn't count on there now being a thong line that announces to the world (well at least to anyone looking at your butt) that you are wearing racy undies

Definitely no panty lines. But some women think that they are more comfortable than regular underwear. You may feel more free in them or whatever.
It all depends on what your comfortable with

it's just comfier, and it makes smaller butts look rounder (i have a flat tush and i love wearing thongs to make it look bigger)
and then the obvious sexual reasons...
