Today, a busy day with kids, in a cab, I left my cell phone there (I live in Manhattan, btw!) I was desperate! I called my own cell, it rang, the driver (chinese) picked it up. Me: " I pay you 20 dollars (the ride would have cost him 10) if you bring it to me. He asked me what kind of phone it was (I told him, describing it carefully) and he brought it back to me, without wanting any money!!!!!!!!!!! THERE ARE KIND PEOPLE OUT THERE YOU KNOW????

My Hubby used to own a Yellow Cab business and they are supposed to either return the item or take them to the office so they can be returned. It was kind and nice of him.
There are a lot more good people out there than we know. Sometimes people do small things like hold a door open and we're either to busy or predisposed to notice. I usually try to let cars get in front or over if possible. I believe a favor done is returned 7 fold!! Plus it makes you feel so good inside!!!

Alevan,the film was purely fictional all though they did a good job to convince people that it was real.It came out well before Halloween which added to the hype of it.I've answered several posts from people that had trouble sleeping and thought they had activity in their bedrooms as well.For a low budget movie they did a good job,however in my opinion I thought the movie was very boring in the beginning.I think this film just opened up a lot of peoples eyes to this phenomena. Nope. Nothing like this has happened to me. I remember losing a cell phone at Kings Island one time and I never got it back.

Good for you and for him for being one of the good guys. There are lots of good people in the world, for some reason, we usually only hear about the bad ones. Glad you got your cell back.
