I'm trying to rip (lossless) my immense CD collection to my hard drive and its pretty slow, what is the best CD drive for this?

It's a CD R/W ROM and I think Samsung 52-32-52 is the best.

I use Asus. It burn and turn. But, when I turn I use the Sony. I burn with Asus and turn with Sony.
Be sure when you have a Great Burner, you have the Processor to back it up. Sometimes a good HDD not hurt either. But, you not get this with a store bought computer. You got to build your own. Good Luck!

plextor for accuracy
it helps if you have a SATA hard drive and SATA cd rom set up
make sure in any case all drives are in DMA mode and NOT PIO, as that's will be your source of slow down

the one that has the fastest X (like a 18X dvd drive, but those can be expensive)
