Oh my goodness! I couldn't even blink watching that and was focused on the lives inside! I was really hoping it wasn't a sick practical joke where I was going to be scarred, yet I couldn't turn away. I'm still at the beginning of my flight training and although my instructors have great things to say about my flying techniques; I'm terrified to land. I refuse to go by myself yet. My friends are starting to make fun of me. To answer your question; I absolutely love flying. It gives me such a since of accomplishment and I'm confident in my ability (in the air). I also love that the system is set up for safety. The rules keep people alive. Also, it would be difficult to get a piloting job you're under qualified for. For someone like me who has always followed her own rules, these new rules and regulations are ones I'm happy and thankful to abide by.

I must say that when this question comes up for best answer, you need to give it to either Estella T or tbird, definatley the best answers.
As for me, I am in the military, so I have a split decision. Since I drive everywhere I go, that means when I fly, I am either going to or coming from a deployment. But the experience itself is not bad.

Honestly, after 9-11, I don't want to fly anymore. I really want to go to Italy...my hubby promised me a trip there. However, I've been reconsidering ever since 9-11. I just don't trust things anymore. Yes, I know...there are more accidents on the road than there are in the air. Blah, blah, blah. I know all of that. That doesn't change my mind!

ya I enjoy every minute of it, especially taking off, when your seat is backwards like that. People think I'm crazy, But if I'm ever in a plane crash...I guess it was supposed to happen. I don't worry about it. I have a natural adrenaline/testosterone rush haha

I like flying. But I don't like the idea of not being in control, especially when the pilots are pissed up on booze and sitting on space hoppers like in that clip! That's crazy! It looks suspiciously like test to me though..

I like flying. Everything except the security lines and taking off your ******* shoes and getting treated like a piece of **** by security. Other than that, its great. Airline food isn't that bad, either. Seldom exactly gourmet but its usually fine. Although Southwestern giving you just a bag of nuts, whew, they aren't putting ANY effort into it, are they??

Flying is OK - gets me from A to B - as long as I am the passenger. Too scared to try it as the pilot.

I like it a lot. When I travel especially on a long trip, I want to take the fastest way available.
