Well it seems the prtybrwn is kinda bitter towards car salesmen. The bottom line is no one really wants to make payments, and a car new or not is a depreciating item...Do you have to lie, No, not with the Internet at every ones finger tips. With Edmund's.com and other sites like Invoice dealers, ripoff report, and kbb.com 6 outta 10 probable buyers happen to know more about the car than most salesmen...Salesmen are mearly pones to the desk managers army....Its OK for you to be new, I've been in the biz for 6yrs now, and worked my up to management, and sometimes if a customer beats me up on questions, I'll even act like I'm new at this and turn the customer to someone else..Just profess. don't lie, if you don't know the answer to a question, its OK to ask "Your manager" and found out the answer...And watch for bitter customers who "just left the other dealership" because you can be the nicest guy and really give them the best deal possible, and your still going to look like an a$$hole...as far as your resume, forget it, fill out an app, if your legal to work, and got a good personality, chances are you'll get hired "Your free overhead" since your working on commish. anyway bro..Good Luck Too You!!!

Use "talky words". You're eloquent, straight forward, people respond to you. Yada, yada.
