Every one in the US has heard of the grizzly. The polar is the famous white bear. The spectacled bear is the south american version of the black bear.

The red panda is not a bear but a raccoon relative. However there is also such a thing as the Himalayan red bear wich is a bear so they are all bears! If you are in the Himalayas it would be called the red bear. So trick question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try wikipedia if you want a source other than me. I think they would have them all.

Just looked up red bear on wikipedia Scientific name is Ursus isabellinus Horsfield.

The Spectacled Bear (Tremarctos ornatus), also known as the Andean Bear and locally as ukuko, jukumari or ucumari, is a small species of bear native to South America.
The grizzly bear, sometimes called the silvertip bear, is a powerful brownish-yellow bear that lives in the uplands of western North America. It has traditionally been treated as a subspecies, Ursus arctos horribilis, of the brown bear living in North America.
The polar bear (Ursus maritimus) is a bear native to the Arctic.
So i am going with the red bear isnt a bear!

WOW, I can't believe the amount of people who thinks it's Spectacled.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectacled_Bear
there they go, just so they can figure it out....

For the real answer, it is Red. There is no Red Bear. There is a Red Panda, but that is not a bear.

Oh dear. There is a spectacled bear, has lighter fur around eyes and looks like wearing eye glasses. The "red bear" is the lesser panda, which is not a bear, closer to raccoon.
