You need to turn off your "windows messenger" service to stop getting these pop-up adds. Go to "my computer" and right click....choose "manage" then open "services and applications" then open "services". Scroll down to the "messenger" service, and double click it. Change the startup type to "disabled" and then hit the "stop" button. They should go away now.

If not you have some spyware on your system. Get AdAware and run that to remove all that crap.

It's a pop up scam. You go to their site then it runs and tells you it fixed some errors but, in order to fix the rest you need to buy the full version. If you click on some they will even install a prog that will annoy you with popups--Go into add/remove programs and make sure there isn't one there.
Never click and allow ActiveX controls on those sites cuz thats giving them the ok to download progs onto your computer.
Get the free version of ad-aware from Lavasoft.com and run it

Your computer is infected with Adware, not damaged.
Get & run a good anti-virus, anti Adware utility.
There are some good free ones out there.

maybe you can turn on/ enable pop up blocker,
Go to TOOLs - internet options - PRIVACY TAB
Tick Pop-up
Or maybe if you have yahoo or google toolbar, there is a popup blocker feature.

Download spybot and ad-aware and run them both. Also make sure you run your antivirus. Try an onboot scan.

Ignore them. They are popup ads meant to trick you into buying software you may not need.

Don't click them!
They are spyware. You need to get a spyware remover and use it, regularly.

I highly recommend: spybot
