Probably Favre (thats right folks, I didn't say Tom Brady)

Favre has been a top caliber QB for years, still loves the game, and other than his Vicodin problem over a decade ago, has been a great role model for everyone.

A super bowl ring (even though it came at the Patriots' expense), no illegitimate kids, no parties with skanky Britney Spears, no arrests, no post-game verbal tirades...the list can go on and on. The guy really never ceases to amaze me.

There are a lot of role models out there. Favre just from perseverance alone and his leadership skills on and off the field. Peyton is a general on the field and most recently has become a tv ad icon. But the the up in coming Romo might be next in line. He has stepped into a rattle snakes nest and has put some trouble makers in their place (T.O.) and has the offense playing like they have been playing together for years. So there are a few role models out there yet. Honorable mentions McNabb coming back from that injury, Garcia not getting credit and still proving he is a starter every week.

Peyton Manning because you modified it with role model and Brady is not a role model. Illegitimate children with women that he leaves while they are pregnant in order to date supermodels does not exactly scream wholesomeness. Manning has a lot of class and has been able to bear the "can't win the big one" tag for years, when he won the big one he then refused to gloat! Good for him and good for his organization. And this is not by any means coming from an Indy fanatic either, just someone who respects class and sportsmanship.

As much as I like Peyton, I've seen him say some dirty stuff, I'd have to say Brees is the best leader in terms of a role model.

Peyton Manning is a great leader on the field and a great role model as well.

Brett Favre...he's been through a lot and managed to stay clean. Okay, there was that slight addiction he had I think it was to pain killers when he was recovering from injury...but other than that he's been a great role model and interestingly enough isn't as commercialized as Peyton Manning is.
