Do Vampires really exist? - Maybe (but they will never let you prove it or live through an encounter unchanged)

Porphyria - the actual disease has been proven to exist where one has weak/thin blood, is very sensitive to sunlight and the skin turns very pale. Such people have to have transfusions every 2 - 4 weeks to keep enough anti-bodies up to keep from sickening.

Biting someone's jugular vein to get blood though, that's not good enough. They'd go for an artery for the fresh stuff, and the smart ones would leave no trace of a wound (or just go get some from the blood bank... tons easier).

I've never met one, but I could believe if one actually bothered to show me how he/she is one...

They r everywhere so its easy to know they do exist.How many people do u know that r up all night and sleep during the day. People who can't stand light. People who r pale as the sun burns their skin right now. People with bags under their eyes. People with a blood fetish.People that fly higher than a kite. People that wear black capes, shawls, bras, etc.. Someone who has no mirrors in the house. Someone who likes to bite. I could go on but I know several people in most of those areas. Think about this do you or someone u know wear sunglasses at night?

I think the myths definitely had to start somewhere. Actual vampires, I don't really know; but, something similar and international had to spark the idea throughout the world.

based on facts i've read

there not undead but there is a clan of people who do drink blood, not from the bodys of the living :P but there is some people who drink blood like wine and stuff....creepy, also there is a vampire....bat....so yeah i guess if u count that one i belive :P but as for the undead type nope

They go back as far as ancient Greece. Legend is more powerful than fact.

But, look at the stats? They stay out of the sun, so, no skin cancer. Live in a crypt and coffin. Temperature and humidity control and less street noise. Get plenty of iron and dress really well.
