Mine was "Bone."

When I was very little we had a dog who loved her milk bones! I used to steal them to make her angry. I don't remember why, but I found it so funny to make her mad. I loved doing this everyday, and it became a habit. So naturally, my first word was "bone."

My first word is mom. I didn't know a single word when everyone in my class was speaking a little bit of english.

Mine was "mama." Apparently my mom had heard me say it once, but I was only three months old and no one believed her. So a few weeks later she went shopping and left me with my dad for a while, and the whole time I screamed "mama!" It made him so mad!

I was born in 1968, and my dad was a bigshot in radio. He was always bringing home new singles to listen to, so TONS of Beatles music.

My first words were "Hey Jude"

Besides the usual Mom/Dad my first word was Out!
I haven't the slightest clue why but I shouted it like it was my job when my sister was born.
Still feel that way too.

My mom said she didn't hear me speak until I was 2 and that was when she went to tie my shoe and I kicked her and told her "I can do it myself!" She nearly fell out of chair. I guess the docotor was right. I would talk when I was ready.

My first word was Dada, but I was referring to my cousin, not my father. Her name was Dallas, so I got it jumbled up.
