new car dealerships are difficult to get. Youy have to convince the manufacturer that a) you know how to make the business successful [hint: lots of experience helps] and b) that you have the financial backing required [millions] and c) have a great reputation.
On the other hand, it seems like every Tom, Dick, and Harry has a "buy here, pay here" lot down on used car row.
I rather suspect that you'll need to be good at selling as well as judging which people are actually going to pay.

A rather huge investment, unless you are black or hispanic. Then you could try to go dd. Dealer development. The manufacturer helps in a large way to set you up as a frachised dealership.

To open a car dealership. You need enough capital, easy access location, competent sales person and don't forget get registration from your goverment.

Well first you have to approved by the car company you want to represent!
If it's a used car company, then start buying used cars, get a business license and a tax number and start selling! Oh, and you would want to buy liability insurance too...
