find the ip address to access the router menu and then go to security and activate the wep encryption. write down the code it gives you and save settings. log off your computer and restart and when you log back in it should ask for that key. you can also go to netgear for instructions but it should have come with most of this info.

login at the administrator and you can change the password there. or do you want to change the password for the wireless access so only you can get on? well you can do that by logging in as admin as well. find the default ip of the router... usually 192.168.1.1
