for those of you who prefer rock and alternative music and don't care too much for rap, are there any rap artists that you like? if so, who. the only 4 i really like are kanye west, eminem, nelly, and timbaland.

That is not a brief summary. Those are the three artists I like. I have respect for lots of rappers, but these are the only three who have music that I enjoy.

Kanye West, I like how his rapping blends well into Alt music you can listen to Kanye west and also Foo fighters at the same time

I don't really listen to either of them much, but i do once in a while. A lot of Eminem's songs are very touching.
Also, Immortal Technique.
He raps with actual depth, he's not a typical rapper that talkings about a fondness for large breasts and larger bottoms all the time.
I don't enjoy his music, but i respect the fact that he speaks about topics that mean something.

im a rock/ alternative listener and almost only listen to rock and i hate rap but some rap artist i dont mind and kinda like are Eminem but more of his older songs...and Common

There was also this really good hip hop group from Denver called Break Mechanics. They were a mix between jazz and hip hop. They were really good, but I think they broke up.

I don't care for rap but I will listen to Eminem because his lyrics crack me up and I laugh how people get so offended by them
