the correct word is "might"

the word "may" implies that you are ALLOWED to lose points and that is just retarded XDDD

Might. May means you are allowed to lose points and doesn't apply to the context of the sentence.

"May" is certainly used to express permission; but not only does it also express a possibility, it does so with more force than "might". "Might" is used as an auxilliary in the past. e.g. "I might have done."
"May" is the word to use.
