I know exactly what you are mean and let me tell you that is the oldest trick in there book at least that is what all the guys that I know family and friends alike say. its a hocks and many fall into that category they want you to go as far as you can or as far as they want without a commitment sorry I have had many friends pull that one on many girls. and it works like a char me to a gold digger.

My ex boyfriend did that. But I am glad he did. Of course things changed. He is now in the army, married and has voluntarily be in Iraq for the past 4 years. He drinks, smokes has no intentions of having a family. I am married, we are both teachers and "clean cut". We plan on having children in 3-5 years.

Yeah my ex but that was 11.5 years ago. I have been happily married for 9.5 years so it worked out for the better. I say take sometime to be only and new things about yourself. The right one will come only when you are ready. Don't give up it will happen.

Well, I've been in a relationship where I was told I was the love of his life, he wanted me to be the mother of his child, and then I broke up with him (for my own personal reasons) and he had a new girlfriend saying the same to her in two days! SO GLAD that I got out of that one! =)
And, yes.. I did have another time where I believed every word he said to me; telling me he loved me and I was his only one. He ended up getting me pregnant, cheating on me, and leaving me. I had a miscarriage and I sternly believe that was gods way of saying it wasn't meant to be.

My ex-husband always said I was the "love of his life" - he kept on saying it even after he had left me for someone else. But he's the kind of guy who's always had a flair for the dramatic.

They might have been saying the truth, then found someone they loved better.

Maybe, they didn't feel the same from you.........and then found someone that loved them a lot.
