It doesn't bother me too much, usually it's somebody that hits every answer with a thumbs down, or someone that wants to be a contrarion. It makes them feel like a big man, like when Rod said "for what it's worth you made me feel a millionaire"

I could care less. Too many people take yahoo answers to heart...I see posts every day with complaints about this guy cheating or that guy cheating. Why the hell anyone cares about how many points they have is beyond me. What are people gonna do..put it on their resume? Put it on their grave marker?? Here's lies George. Don't worry about his age or cause of death...but the dude was a level 6 and had 15,000 points! People are far to high strung. Don't worry about the points..or the thumbs up/down. It doesn't matter one bit

Yes. I personally think a lot of people do it just to be mean. It gets old fast. There's no reason to give a thumbs down unless the answer is rude, mean, inappropriate, or vulgar.

They do have a reason...it is their privilege and Yahoo guidelines right to give anyone a thumbs down. No, I don't get mad. If it deleted me everytime then I would be IRATE...but, naw no problem with it.

yes, but I have accidentally clicked on thumbs down when I meant to give a thumbs up, and I felt bad about it. I must move the mouse while clicking sometimes.

No, I don't have time for that. It's the silly thumbs down trolls and if they didn't go around giving thumbs down they really would have no life.

No of course not. It's just kids under 13 or over 13 with the mind of a 7 year old.

For me, it's what's behind it.
Mostly, when they don't "get" the point
of an answer...and then we're at THEIR
"mercy"...oh, well, like they say, "Pearls
at Swine".
Just remember: An Old Raincoat Won't
Ever Let You Down.

YES. Especially on yes or no questions, if someone gives thumbs down for everyone saying "no" or everyone saying "yes."
IT TICKS ME OFF.
