I'm really torn between four different stones/colors to choose for my class ring.
I'm debating between Diamond, which is my birthstone (but the problem is, it doesn't really stand out, it sort of blends in with the ring because the ring is silverish colored)
Or emerald Green, because it's the school color
Or red Garnet, because it's pretty and looks nice against the silver
Or light blue (Zircon) because its just a pretty color
Which one?
Diamond (that sort of blends in)
Emerald Green
Dark Red
Light blue

I would suggest getting diamond, since that's your birthstone, or emerald green, since that's your school color. Maybe you should go with the emerald green since the diamond kinda blends in with the ring.

I would go with either the diamond or the emerald green. The class ring is supposed to represent you, your highschool years, and experiences. The diamond represents you because its your birth stone, and the emerald represents you and your high school years because its the school color.

Kids now are so lucky ... you have so many options! (When I bought mine, there was only one style available, and the only 'option' was a light green or dark green stone ... everyone's ring looked the same)! Get the stone that you LIKE. It doesn't need to have 'significance', just the one that you like best. Many people DO get one of their school colors (the ring IS about where you go to school, after all!), and if you like your school colors, that's a great idea. If not, pick a color that you love.

Red or Light blue. The light blue sounds really pretty with a silverish colored band !

I think you'd be happiest in the future with your own birthstone. Perhaps there are a selection of different mountings to choose from that would compliment the stone
