I've just started to make jewellery and was wandering what the best way would be to start selling, also what is the best way to price items and where are the best places to get supplies such as beads and findings ect.

Shows and consignment in stores in a good way to sell. Also, the best place online other than a personal website is www.Etsy.com. Forget about eBay for finished pieces, the prices stink. The normal markup for jewelry is 3 to 4 times the cost of what the piece was to make.. Include cost for your labor in making it..

Suppliers are all over the place.. Check out message boards and such to find out the good ones. Will vastl depend on whether you are using steriling silver or plate..

Get ur gear wholesale cut the middle man out
get urself in a good position and let the product shout
u need some money, cars clothes and rent
on ma stuff am makin bout 90%

This is an excellent time for craft fairs. google "craft fair" and the name of your town, or the nearest big city, and several will probably come up. You could also try it with the name of your state. If your designs are original, you could even launch your own website. there is nothing wrong with starting with a freebie website until the money starts coming in, then you can graduate to ad-free.

I would sell on www.etsy.com. Its a very nice site, I buy from there.
