It's too late. India and China are already way ahead of us due to soaring populations and energy needs. We should have done it a long time ago but lobbying by the auto industry has quashed any R&D in this area.

No the US should mind their own business. And why would they do that when Europe and every other country is by far ahead of us?

WE SHOULD BE WAY AHEAD BUT THE OIL LOBBY HAS CONGRESS WRAPPED AROUND THEIR FINGER AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE EXCEPT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE GOING BROKE MAKING BIG OIL RICHER.
