Ok, so I lost A LOT of weight and I don't have any clothes that fit me anymore... I am used to dressing really conservative and Business Professional... Well, now that Im down to the weight I want, I kinda want to be a little bit more "Trendy" when I go out, instead of my jeans and a button up dress shirts...

Im still a young 24 but If anyone has any sites that I could copy styles or even Magazines to get ideas from, that would be great... Money really isn't an issue but I don't want to be spending $100 on a pair of jeans... :o

Anything would be much appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

(Please don't respond that I should feel comfortable with being me... I just want to try a different style) Indie is what I think I like... :)

I'm not so sure about indie being a good look on anyone, and I'm 25. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing some of their clothes. But if you want to look stylish instead, here's a couple of suggestions. First, buy clothes that fit your body well. Even if it means trying on tons of clothes, make sure they fit. This can be the difference between looking pretty good, and looking great. Second, trends come and go, and some can look pretty rediculous, but style can be iconic. Purchase items that won't change with the direction of the wind. A great, versatile sport jacket, a peacoat, a solid pair of flat-front trousers, and aviator sunglasses. I hope you get where I'm going with this. Things like this will not go out of style next month, and always look good, on everyone, all the time...as long as they fit.

For more information, I would buy Esquire Magazine's Black Book of Style. Also try GQ. These two publications are all you'll ever need. I believe they make some serious mistakes every now and then, but their hits more than outnumber their misses. I hope this helped.

What's your scene? What's appropriate for a casual beach bar (flip flops, faded jeans, maybe cargo shorts, and a t shirt) may not be appropriate for a trendy downtown club (which may have a dress code). Also consider your hair style. Seriously, some clothing styles just look wrong with certain hair styles.

So update your question with some more info, such as your regular scene.

Kilts are the coming thing.

I highly recommend USAKilts.Com. they offer traditionally styled kilts in a variety of tartans and solids at reasonable prices.

If you want more non-tartan choices, Utilikilts are the biggest producers of modern non-traditional kilts. Neo Kilts, StillWaters Kilts, and Amerikilts also produce non-traditional kilts in a variety of price ranges.

If you want to spring for a handmade custom kilt, I recommend Matt Newsome at the Scottish Tartan Museum, Kathy Lare, and Alexis Malcolm, all have websites.

You don't have to be a Scot, or of Scottish descent to wear a kilt. They are handsome, stylish, and terribly comfortable. A kilt can be dressed up for the most formal occasion imaginable, or dressed down for a night of pub crawling. In addition to comfort, kilts are good for male reproductive health, and if you are unmarried, they are babe magnets.

Visit the Brotherhood of the Kilt Forum at: http://www.kiltsrock.com/forum/ for lots of tips, and information.

FWIW, lots of well known celebrities, such as Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson, Ewan MacGregor, Stone Philips, Jack Black, Jonathan Davis, David Ducovny, Alan Rickman, Axl Rose, Sting, keifer Sutherland, Billy Boyd, David Beckham, and many others all wear kilts.

or try looking at topshop, or limey or home shopping catalouge, next

I love a guy who wears unique, kind of offbeat looks, like sweaters and things like that. Something that I love to do is get inspiration from international street style. There are a lot of websites with good pictures of this, just look up "international street style"

cotton, short sleeve polos are good. and they make you look younger. horizontal stripes are a plus.
put a plain white tee under though.

or long sleeve idk what the fabric is but the kind of cottonish but crisper, idk you iron it though.. i hope you know what I'm talking about w. up & down stripes also w. tee under and not buttoned all the way (somewhat buttoned) and hey, you could wear this to work or on a date or just around town! (this is kind of like a business shirt but it should be lighter, brighter, and striped up and down, buttons all the way, but dont actually button it all the way. make sure you have an undershirt though!
