McDonalds is only half the problem. They don't force the food down the patrons' throats, the people make a conscious decision to eat there willingly. That would make them just as responsible for the weight gain.

McDonalds is not the whole problem, we choose to eat there. McDonalds, like any other big corporation, only is focused on making money not the health of the consumer. They claim that they also offer some healthy choices but even those are loaded with fat and calories. The only way that McDonalds would care is if they noticed a big decrease in sales, I highly doubt that will happen anytime in the near future.

Why don't fat people accept responsibility for their obese condition instead of blaming McDonald? You go in order double cheeseburger, big fries, large drink ( with free refills) and complain that the fast food place is at fault. And why doesn't the person who asked the question learn to spell? The management at McDonald isn't holding a gun to your head making you eat, are they?
