Why am I bothering to educate morons? They seen and ignored evidence and scream about the evil/classless/cheating/Satanic Patriots. It doesn't matter. But I think getting this in one thread might be good.
Stealing signs
The Patriots were found guilty of using a camera. Here's a link of sign stealing in the NFL in 2002

(Shannahan brags of keeping binoculars on the sideline and the currently unemployed Jim Fassel seems confused that it was happening.)
Cheating on the salary cap only gets a 3rd round pick

Yes, the 49ers and Steelers got the same but I'm too lazy to get a link.
What was in the evidence the Patriots gave the NFL

I'm too lazy to look it up, but I've read from NY sources that last year the Jets were told by the Patriots to stop filming them at Foxboro. Since this was never forwarded to the NFL, the Jets have no reason to officially announce it, and the Patriots never whine about anything; this will stay in the realm of NY media conjecture.

So here goes... I'm a Pats fan;, have been and always will be. Many have been looking for some time now to hate the Pats and now, like you have said, found that bandwagon to jump on. While I'm not happy with what happened, many other fans of other teams are greatly fooled if they don't think their respective team has not tried things to get an edge on their opponents. I love the game of football and am a true fan and I am tired of people making their snide comments about my team when all I'm trying to do is kick back and not only enjoy Pats game, but others games as well.
As far as the Pats running up the score... there are two goals for a team to accomplish on the field 1.) to score against the opponent and 2.) to prevent the opponent from scoring on you. I don't have a problem with a fan being upset about the score, but when I hear sports analyist talk about it and read articles from some ignorant writers whom complain about this, they are idiots and so are the players that call themselves professional football players. Why? Because if Miami or Washington would have run up the score on the Pats, everyone would have been congratulating them. Remember week three? Yeah, that game where the Eagles stomped Detroit 56-21? Well I remember the oohs and ahhs the next day from these "professionals" about how well the Eagles played. If the players do not like getting scored upon, then do something about it... as the Defense, that's your job, what you get paid for. As far as others saying that they should have just kept the ball on the ground and handed it off... hello?! We just got Maroney back and Sammy Morris is still out. That's a great idea. Let's give the opponents more reasons to beat up on our run game.
Wow... I didn't really mean to go off like this but I'm tired of all the smack. For all those whom truly love and appreciate the game, give me and other fans the respect and let us enjoy ours!

Ok first off in the Superbowl and the playoffs running up the score is not as big of a deal, why? winning is much more important and the champion of a confrence is much more likely to come back from a 21 point deficit then say the Dolphins if you give them a chance.
You should never experiment in the playoffs unless you have to and you should take every score you can get. How ever in the regular season if your said to be the best team in the league playing the worst team you dont need to worry about them coming back.
Second notice those teams have scored over 500 points in a season but then they still have a few losses and they are only averaging around 35 points a game, Not uncommon for good teams in the NFL.
Btw Since when are binoculars cameras?

You're pathetic in comparing Superbowl scores to a week 8 regular season game. The Chicago vs. Patriots score in '86 was lopsided because the Pats were just incompetent... interceptions for TDs and safeties aren't exactly running up the score. They're gifts by your precious Pats.

I don't hate the Patriots because any of the stuff you listed. I hate them because of their fans who can remember 3 super bowls of 2002, 2004 and 2005 but somehow forget the losses in the 05-06 season and the 06-07 season.

Too lazy to get a link for proof but not too lazy to make the statement and pass it off as fact. Your credibility is shot right there. You lose. Game over. Go home.
