Its really hard for me to choose because they all have such different personalities. But at the same time, their quirks are what make them such a likeable baseball team!
I really like Jonathan Papelbon. His energy on and off the field was incredible. He pitched SO great and his riverdances were pretty awesome as well. He's just an all around nice guy and he has this energy that makes you like him. Some people might not, but I sure do!
Dustin Pedroia and Jacoby Ellsbury were very impressive, too! On game 3, they helped their team SO much. When the Rockies started to creep up on them, they just faught right back! The whole team's effort is what did it, but without those two, I doubt this championship would be possible! Who would have thought the 2 rookies would end up being so inspiring?!
The team as a whole is so phenominal and I'm BEYOND happy they won the world series! They definitley deserved it.
GO RED SOX!!!!

Congrats to the best team in 2007. It was a great season for baseball in general. As a Yankee fan and a fan of some of the old Red Sox players I just wish guys like Dwight Evans and Carl Yastrzemski could have been part of a world championship team. They were my two favorite Red Sox players.
The one Red Sox I have no respect for is Manny Ramirez. He may be a good ball player but he is non respectful to the game and the fans that support him. His "I don't give a crap" attitude is unacceptable. It's sad to think that there are people who actually praise him. I guess we have to consider the source.

Not really a Red Sox fan, but I do like the lesser-known players. Off the Sox this year, probably Dustin Pedroia.

Wake.
Timmy is the longest tenured player on the Sox and a true team guy. When they needed him to close - he was there
When they needed him to pitch Set-up - He was there
When they need him to start and eat up innings - He's there.
He took himself out in order for Lester to pitch because he knew he couldn't pitch the way he needed to because of his injury.
He's not the flash player, just the player they have relied on to do many different things for over a decade.
