I just read on the Y! headlines that Oprah has a phobia for gum...me too. I can't stand it when people chew gum.

I never really liked gum but not to that extent! My phobia is actually very weird. I have this phobia of things growing and shrinking rapidly and continually.

definite sufferer of claustropobia. Doesn't help when I have to have yearly MRIs. And, I'm sorry, but I'm chewing gum right now and I won't spit it out. I'm also afraid of heights (acrophobia) and this summer my friend MADE me (she claims that I WANTED to) go on a ride at an amusement park that goes 250 feet in the air with your feet dangling and it drops you. Scariest **** ever!!!!

I'm also afraid of spiders, and depending on the day, feet.

You don't like when people chew gum or you're afraid of actual gum? I'm terrified of drowning/suffocating.

Interesting. Uh, excuse me! I have a call! *turns around and spits gum out*

My main ones include fears of spiders (any insects in general) and a slight fear of flying and a huge fear of the dark. I know I have more. I just can't think of them all at the moment. ;-)

Don't know the technical term for it but I fear death. Not so much death as whats waiting for us after life but death as in 'I don't get to do everything I want to do in my lif, and marry off all my children' sort of death.

I'm a realist, as you can see.
