I have an object. I know the equation is a= Dv/Dt. My times are 2.8s and 4.0s. My velocities are 1.43 and 1.45. 10 points for giving the most thorough answer.

Also, show me how you did it please.

If the acceleration is constant:

Dv = V2 - V1
Dt = T2 - T1

I think you mean that at T1 = 2.8, V1 = 1.43. If so, then you also have T2 and V2, and so can compute the accleration.

Of course, you didn't tell us the units of 1.43 and 1.45. If they are not in distance/seconds, you have to convert so that the velocites and the times are using the same units.
