The length of a table is measured to the nearest 1 cm and the value is found to be 100 cm. The clearest way to express this result is
100 cm
1 m
1.00 × 102 cm
1 × 102 cm
none of the above

I thought it could be either C or none of the above.. and I'm not sure I know 100. and 1.00 have the wrong sig figs..

The statement "The length of a table is measured to the nearest 1 cm" means it is acurate to 1cm, not something else. It also said "the value is found to be 100 cm". Hence answer "100cm" is correct. The possible error is no more than 0.5cm.
1m is not correct, since the error in 1m could be as large as 0.49m = 49cm.
Both "1.00 × 102 cm" and "1 × 102 cm" are surely wrong since they contradict to the statement "the value is found to be 100 cm".
