It really does depend on the individual, but I would have to say in my experience there was a difference in the pain level. Pms Tenederness was not as painful as pregnancy tenderness for me ( yes Im making up my own medical terminology) when I was pregnant putting a bra on made me cry. Go and get a test, that'll ease your mind . Are you urinating frequently or sleeping alot? those are indications. Good Luck

Your breast don't naturally hurt the first few weeks of pregnancy.
You might want to go to you OBY or Gino to make sure take a pregnancy test.
You might want to do a self breast examination and fill for lumps, if you find any go to an oncologist or endocrinologist to have them checked out.
Breast naturally hurt before or after your period.
They can also hurt if you have done an strenuous exercises by lifting heavy things.
In some cases it is the production of milk without being pregnant but having a hormonal dis-balance or unbalance.
You might want to get a blood work up to keep these plausible but not certain outcomes at bay. The best to do is go to a gynecologist or your doctor and they may give you a more specific doctor .
Stress can also be a factor in your breasts feeling sorrow or the flu.
You can also push your nibbles and see if milk comes out. If so go to a doctor.

I know usually pregnancy symptoms don't show up until you're about five weeks along, but almost immediately my breasts would hurt and not the usual way they hurt with my period. I noticed right away my nipples were very sore and as soon as I missed my period, I took a test which was positive. My breasts hurt about week before my period was due...other than that, I didn't have any other pregnancy symptoms until about six-seven weeks along.

It may be different for everybody, for me it was far more intense than period breast soreness..it even hurts to put a bra on, and now I wear TWO sports bras to reduce the pain, but they always are tingly and the nipples are REALLY sensitive, when I first started to notice, I was jogging (with a great sports bra) and it felt like breasts were being ripped off, when I had never felt that before...

If your period is two weeks away then this is definitely not a sign of pregnancy. You are probably ovulating, my boobs used to hurt for a day or so when I ovulated.

When your boobs start hurting because you are pregnant they they swell up more and hurt more than normal monthly booby pain. I'm not sure how soon. if you suspect you may be pregnant go get a test and make sure you take a good vitamin .
