Best Magnesium product Slow Mag or MagOx400?
I have used Slow Mag and read that suposedly thiers is the most absorbable, then I found MagOx400 which is $4 less than Slow Mag and they say that thiers is the most absorbable and contains more elemental magnesium. Can someone tell me which one is actually better?

Slow Mag contains Magnesium Chloride. However, this is NOT the liquid form of Mag. Chloride which is documented to be highly absorb-able. So, this product is "suspect".

MagOx400 is Magnesium Oxide. This is well documented to be the LEAST absorb-able form of supplemental Magnesium. Because it is poorly absorb-able, it also is likely to cause diarrhea in many people (especially at high doses). Note: MgO is the CHEAPEST form of magnesium supplements, which is why it is the most common form.

Suggestions: Find liquid MgCl or try capsule forms that are well documented to be readily absorbed with low risk of inducing diarrhea, such as: Mg glycinate, Mg Citrate, or Magnesium Citrate-Malate.

Best wishes and good luck.
