If I get a Bachelor's of Arts and Humanities degree, but do not have a major, can I later get certified to be a teacher in the state of Texas? In any other state?

if you have a B.A. -- Humanities is your major..... I have a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a teaching credential.....As long as you get a teaching cred. you may teach in most states

In california that degree and a general K-12 credential would qualify you to teach in at least K-5 schools

Many states, New York is one, require you to get a Master's within five years of beginning the job.

Yes you can. In Texas and all other states. You just won't be able to teach subjects like math.
